Josh grew up in Taihape and spent his secondary school years boarding at Wanganui City College where he was head boy. He was a very keen sportsman with a particular interest in rugby and touch rugby.
Josh has represented New Zealand for touch rugby at age group level and was part of the World Champion Under 19 men’s side in 2001. He has also represented Otago and Canterbury Rugby Development and Sevens sides and was part of the Counties Manukau Steelers Air New Zealand Cup side in 2009.
Josh has completed a Bachelor of Physical Education (majoring in Exercise Prescription) and a Bachelor of Physiotherapy which he completed in 2008. He has been working as a Physiotherapist in Private Practice since this time, starting out in Christchurch, and he is now based at Windsor St Physio in Invercargill.
Josh is passionate about his work and has a particular interest in Rehabilitation Programmes with his Physical Education background. He believes strongly in keeping active and lives by this in his own life, which he feels is hugely important when rehabilitating, motivating and driving others to do the same.
